Parent & Friends Association

We have a very active and very enthusiastic Parents and Friends Association (PAF) within Holywell Village First School, albeit now down to a few dedicated members.

Prior to lockdown and restrictions, our children enjoyed regular events like film nights and school discos along with competitions and fayres all organised by the PAF Association to raise funds for school.

Throughout recent years the PAF contributions to school have included funding for new reading books for the children, funding the transport for class trips and visits and also a whole school visit to a local pantomime.  Each year they also fund Easter eggs for all of the children in school along with competition prizes and Christmas gifts.

Without the tireless fundraising efforts of the association, we would not be able to provide all of the lovely resources, activities and treats all of our children benefit from within school.

Now with restrictions lifting, we DESPERATELY need more support and volunteers.  Without volunteers we will not be able to have or provide all of the fun and enrichment activities we used to.  School discos, film nights and fayres will become a thing of the past and we REALLY do not want that to happen for the children.

If you are interested in joining our Parents and Friends Association, please contact the school office for more details.
